St Helens Foodbank

St Helens Foodbank supports people with emergency food parcels designed to last three days in times of crisis. It is run in partnership with local churches, facilitated by The Hope Centre and supported by our faithful volunteers and generosity from local businesses and the public. The partnerships of referral agencies, Citizens Advice St Helens and more are part of the support our clients receive to help them into better times.

Foodbank is an emergency food provision. You can only access this service by referral through a support agency, such as the NHS, Citizens Advice, School, Housing Associations, Social Services or the Probation Service.

They will issue you with a voucher and a list of hubs where you can collect your food. We’re unable to give food parcels without this voucher, but you can collect from any of the hubs across St Helens with one voucher.
You can support Foodbank with donations of food goods or monetary donations. Please see the Foodbank website to see what items are most needed.

You can also donate via our donate page, noting ‘Foodbank’ in the comments / notes, or volunteer with one of our teams on the volunteer page.
