Complaints & Compliments Statement

Complaints, Compliments and Feedback Statement

At The Hope Centre, we seek to serve our community with compassion, dignity and integrity. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and respectful environment where every person feels valued and heard.

As part of our Christian values, we believe in listening well, acting justly, showing grace and continually seeking to grow in how we serve others. We welcome compliments, feedback and concerns as opportunities to celebrate what is working well and improve where needed.

Compliments

We are always encouraged to hear when our staff, volunteers, services or activities have made a positive difference. Compliments help us celebrate God’s goodness, encourage our team and recognise faithful service to others.

Feedback

We value honest feedback and suggestions from everyone who engages with The Hope Centre. Your ideas and experiences help us strengthen our services and ensure we continue to meet the needs of our community with care, excellence and compassion.

Complaints

While we always aim to serve people with kindness, fairness and respect, we recognise that sometimes concerns may arise. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, we want to know so we can listen carefully, respond appropriately and seek a positive resolution.

We are committed to:

  • Treating every concern with dignity, fairness and compassion
  • Listening respectfully and responding honestly
  • Handling concerns confidentially and sensitively where appropriate
  • Learning from mistakes and seeking continuous improvement
  • Promoting reconciliation, understanding and restoration wherever possible

Complaints, compliments or feedback may be shared verbally, in writing, by email or through a member of staff or volunteer. We will seek to acknowledge concerns promptly and work towards a fair and timely response.

We believe every voice matters. Your feedback helps us better reflect the hope, care and compassion we seek to offer through our service to the community.
