Welcome to our news page where we will keep you updated with all that's happening at The Hope Centre, St Helens.
Throughout the summer holidays we open our kitchen once a week to deliver the Make Lunch Project. The project provides activities and a hot meal for children who normally receive free school meals. We are currently looking for people to help us make this a fun time for the children and their families. The role will involve interacting with the children, playing games, craft-making and supervising other fun activities. We may also need you to help to serve the hot meals.
We currently have no volunteer vacancies available at the food bank. We greatly appreciate the amount of interest shown in supporting us, so please keep an eye out for future vacancies.
We are so grateful to the team from Marks and Spencer in St Helens who gave up their full weekend to give the Breakfast Room at Hope House a face-lift. Not only did they redecorate the full room, they cleaned up the whole building as well, just wow! We are over the moon and couldn't be more grateful for all the hard work the team put in. Please take a look at our pictures, we are beyond chuffed.
Eddie is one of our lovely volunteers at Hope House (St Helens Homeless Centre) who turned 90 last month. We are really grateful for his dedication and hard work. He is truly loved by all of the Hope Centre team and service users. Thank you Eddie, you're a star!
