Faith To Talk Event

Last Thursday saw the Hope Centre, in partnership with MIND, deliver the second part of the Faith to Talk event.

It gave people the knowledge and confidence to talk to, support and signpost people who are struggling with poor mental health. The day was attended by, among many others, our Mayor & Mayoress.

The day was captured in pictures by @CommunicART.UK and we are pleased  to share the finished result here...

Volunteers Wanted For Make Lunch Project

Throughout the summer holidays we open our kitchen once a week to deliver the Make Lunch Project. The project provides activities and a hot meal for children who normally receive free school meals. We are currently looking for people to help us make this a fun time for the children and their families. The role will involve interacting with the children, playing games, craft-making and supervising other fun activities. We may also need you to help to serve the hot meals.

If you would like more information on this volunteer position, please contact Beryl on 0174426414, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Hope House (St Helens Homeless Centre) Makeover Thanks to M&S

We are so grateful to the team from Marks and Spencer in St Helens who gave up their full weekend to give the Breakfast Room at Hope House a face-lift. Not only did they redecorate the full room, they cleaned up the whole building as well, just wow! We are over the moon and couldn't be more grateful for all the hard work the team put in. Please take a look at our pictures, we are beyond chuffed.
