Project Director’s End-of-Year Blog – December 2025
Well… another year has flown by.
Another year to serve, to love, and to stand alongside our community with hope and compassion.
As we enter this Christmas season, our annual Christmas Activities are in full swing. Hope House will once again be open for Christmas Day dinner, Boxing Day, and all the days in between — welcoming anyone who needs food, warmth, company, or simply a place to belong.
This year Hope Centre’s Crisis Café will be operational supporting the St Helens community. Their partnership is already making a real difference as we prepare to care for even more people this winter.
Our Foodbank has seen a significant increase in demand, but we have also witnessed overwhelming generosity. We have received incredible food donations from schools, churches, local businesses, and families who have stepped in to give what they can. Thank you for helping us keep shelves stocked and homes fed.
Our Pantry continues to grow as we support families with dignity and choice — and this year we welcomed our newest addition to the Baby Basics team – Community Clothing Pop up ages 0-4. This has been a great success, providing essentials for parents, babies, and children throughout the year.
None of this would be possible without our amazing team, our dedicated volunteers, and the countless people who support, donate, and stand with us.
From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you.
May you and your loved ones know the Joy & Peace of Christmas and Blessing in every step you take into the New Year and throughout 2026.
As 2025 comes to a close, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
