20 Years of Hope Centre

Since 2004, the Hope Centre has provided high quality advocacy, support and training for those most removed from society.
The Hope Centre, St Helens is a multifaceted charity hub of support, advocacy & practical support. We are dedicated to serving those in our community who are most in need through our various projects, courses and training opportunities and as we continue to grow, we do all we can to help as many people as we can.
The Hope Centre works across two sites – our base at Atherton Street and our Homelessness Day Centre at 110 Crab Street to provide an award winning service to those who are most vulnerable in our community.

Once I attended the first class, my anxiety went down, I discovered the other attendees were nice and friendly and the teacher was easy to talk to and trust.
I enjoy volunteering as it gives me something to do and is a way to help others.
If it wasn’t for Hope I would still be in the position I was in before I attended the Breathe Programme, I wouldn’t have a job for feel good about myself. I can’t believe how far I have come in 9 weeks!
