I was having family problems at Christmas and so my advisor at Learn Direct brought me to Hope House for my Christmas dinner, as I had nowhere else to go.

I was suffering from severe depression and anxiety around this time and was feeling very low. My confidence has improved and I love coming in each day and speaking to the girls and the socialising with the other service users.

I really enjoy the art group run by Crisis which I attend every Tuesday in Hope House and I also use the computer for my job search. I know I can come and talk to the girls whenever I need to and they have been very supportive. I am currently looking for work, volunteering at a charity shop in St Helens and attending the art group at Hope House. I also come in for breakfast most mornings. I am feeling a lot more confident and more positive about my future.
